I am a very passionate student. I love to research topics that I find interesting. I would be very excited to present in front of an audience. I am interested in joining the CAPS program because it is an opportunity for me to research something that i'm interested in and it gives me the opportunity to be vocal.
Language Education in America: Where it's heading
My topic is focusing on reforming the language education in American public schools. I plan on either proposing alternative suggestions or focusing on reforms and policy changes.
I plan to interview people and conduct research. I most likely won't be able to travel far, but I will try to do as much as much as I can locally.
I will know I am successful when I feel satisfied with the amount of information I've learned, and I feel like my opinions have transformed. If I'm concerned I haven't done enough then I haven't done enough. I'll know I'm successful when I'm not very doubtful.
This project would push me to hear other people's viewpoints and delve in further into my topic.
